A Canadian-born author, Carolynn McCully is pleased to write about her unique perspective of life and learning found within the covers of her books.
Born in 1944, the post-war years provided an exciting foundation of exploration and adventure, experiencing and gaining many insights through her growing years, becoming a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

I had a hard time putting The Dance of Wills book down. It was so interesting I wanted to read more. The author uses vivid descriptions that make you feel as if you are standing in the middle of the action that is being described. I’m looking forward to reading the other books written by Carolynn.
Interludes with Nature is a beautifully calming read. Carolynn McCully’s ability to weave stories that are both intimate and universal is truly remarkable. The way she describes nature’s power and the connections between humans and the natural world is so vivid that you can almost feel the breeze and hear the whispers of the trees. Each story is like a gentle invitation to slow down and listen to the wisdom around us. I found myself reflecting on my own connection to the world in a way I hadn’t before. I’m excited to dive deeper into more of Carolynn’s work, her writing is a treasure that leaves you feeling inspired and grounded.
I have known Carolynn for many years, remembering fondly of our first meeting i a College program that called to both of us. As very senior students we encouraged each other in our journeys to get the education we needed to do what we longed to do, to support and guide troubled children and youth and their families. I have always admired Carolynn’s calm and optimistic way of approaching conflict and her ability to connect with others without any judgement. I am lucky to call her my friend and I wish her the best in all of her writing career. I know that her books offer something for everyone and they lead readers to reflect on their own life experiences and perhaps offer some insight into their own behaviour. Looking forward to reading her new book she is writing.
